Simple Present
Auxiliary = DO
Only in negatives and questions No auxiliary in simple sentences
DO + Base Form
Time = always, usually, never, often, sometimes, generally, fact, every day, weekly….

He, She, It use base form + S

Stative Verbs
No –ing. Time can be now or usually.
Use simple present.

Present Progressive
BE + ING
Auxiliary = BE
Be+Ing
Time = right now
Time can be immediate future too.

He, She, It use is ___ing

Stative Verbs
No –ing. Even when the time is now.
Use simple present

Make Statements:

2. Now, need (stative)
3. Now, drink
4. Generally, rain
