Present Progressive

Meaning: The present progressive means now, in progress.  It is only used with action verbs which can be in progress right now.

Form: Present Progressive is the present of BE (am, is, are) + the ING form of the main verb

  • I am singing
  • You are running
  • She is working
  • He is driving
  • It is raining
  • We are cooking
  • They are getting ready
